From the heart: Orestis Welf, Halcyon City's #1 Most Promising CEO

Orestis Welf, CEO of Tyche Staffing and Founder of Nike's Favor

Sitting directly across from Orestis Welf, you'd never believe this was the same man named Halcyon City's Top CEO for two years in a row. As he sits down across from me, he offers a handful of chocolate-covered peanut butter snacks. "My wife will kill me if you tell her I took these," he jokes.

It's this boyish charm and kind nature that's helped propel Orestis into a level of celebrity not typically seen by many businessmen of his stature. In fact, Tyche Staffing Incorporated has seen a record boom in stocks since Orestis was hired on as their CEO three years ago. "Most of that is thanks to the great staff that I surround myself with," Orestis says. "If it wasn't for them and the blessings of the gods, I'd never have made it to where I am today."

According to Orestis, the key to a successful business is providing a stable and welcoming working environment -- and with the results Tyche Staffing has seen, it's hard to argue with that logic.

"Obviously I'm not the first or even only guy in the industry to put my staff's needs ahead of my own," Orestis says. "The real key is maintaining that consistently across the board."

So how does consistent kindness work for Orestis' latest venture? Will this kind of approach even work for something as ambitious as an adventuring party? And is it even worth trying to revive a concept that's failed so many times? To these questions, Orestis replies with a big, warm smile and laughs. "Hopefully the gods will see fit to keep smiling on us long enough to see," Orestis says.
